LGSA - Lakeshore Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization run strictly by volunteers. Our success is measured by the involvement of all our parents.

Summer Intercity "B" League is where players take the game to the next level of competitiveness, continue to develop new skills, make strong bonds & friendships, all the while having lots of fun.

 

The league is divided into the following age groups set by Softball Canada and Softball Quebec:

U9

Year of Birth: 2016-2017

U17

Year of Birth: 2008-2009

U11

Year of Birth: 2014-2015

U23

Year of Birth: 2002-2007

U13

Year of Birth: 2012-2013

U15

Year of Birth: 2010-2011

What to Expect?​​

  • Evaluations/Try-Outs may be required to determine teams and players positions

  • Teams are comprised of girls from our Spring house league (Must play Spring in order to participate in Intercity)

  • Approximately 10 to 15 regular season games

  • Players MUST commit to 80% of games and practices

  • 1 practice each week (usually weekends)

  • A week-long Regionals tournament in mid-August

  • If the team qualifies for the Provincial tournament, a 3-4 day tournament in September

  • Travel games can be held in Valleyfield, Rigaud, Chateauguay, Saint-Lazare, Ile Perrot and Vaudreuil-Dorion

  • and Kahnawake (u11 only)

  • ALL HOME GAMES are played in Beaconsfield or Kirkland

  • U9 to U15 age groups will have a 6:30pm game expected to be at the field for 6:00pm

  • U17 to U23 age groups will have an 8:30pm game and expected to be at the field for 8:00pm

  • Potential to play in weekend Tournament in July

2024 Registration Fee 

Payment to be made once teams are selected

  • TBC, includes:

    • Cost to play

    • Jersey and number to be purchased by player as long as they are players of LGSA

    • If payment arrangements are needed, please contact Deb Maddocks at softball.lgsa@gmail.com

 

Mandatory LGSA Intercity Uniform

  • Full Uniform = cost TBD

  • Partial Uniform = cost TBD

LGSA’s colors are Royal Blue, Red and White. The teams representing LGSA are required to be dressed alike, wearing the above-mentioned colors.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

 

A strong volunteer base is at the core of every successful program. Our team of volunteers is made up of amazing, dedicated parents, LGSA players and alumni.  Our volunteers are essential in making girls softball a memorable experience.
